Cassandra Moore Bell

In 1986, I started my college studies at PJC (now PSC) but ended up leaving to pursue love, that didn’t happen. Lol In 1988, I moved on and went into the Army: Ft Jackson, Ft Lee, then Ft Lewis. I got pregnant and decided to get out of the Army. Nearly one year later I was recalled to active duty for Operation Desert Storm. After I served, I began raising my daughter. Life happened and I decided to move to NJ and start over. I met and married my 1st husband and had two more children. Unfortunately this marriage ended in divorce. My children and I moved back to FL to start over. After raising my children and being single for 18 years, God Blessed me to meet and marry my current husband, John in 2015. In October 2018, right after our last school reunion, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I’m grateful to be cancer free now! I’m grateful to be still here for another school reunion!

While in our senior year, our home economics class was studying weddings and had a mock wedding as our exam. I was the Bride and Vince Dortch was the Groom. So, technically, Vince is my 1st husband, which is a running joke between the two of us! LOL
